Speaking Engagement Testimonials
Susan Duesbery has discovered beautiful and authentic ways to impart wisdom that strengthens our resolve to continue on our own journey. She exemplifies authenticity and people gravitate to her because of this. Susan stirs the goodness within us and gently provides us with knowledge that help develop our own practices. Her facilitated experiences guide us on our path to find the source of where all good originates. We are blessed to know Susan, thankful for her gifts, and are transformed by her approach.

Susan's lunch and learn presentation, "Letting Go of Stress" combined just the right mix of life experience, self awareness, science, humor, and meditation practice. After speaking about the effects stress has on our bodies, Susan taught attendees several meditation techniques, which we practiced during the lunch and learn session. After meditating, I went on to have one of the most positive and productive afternoons I've had in a long time!

Susan's presentation to our law firm staff on managing stress successfully was very practical, experiential and well-received. Just what we needed for a shot in the arm to help all of us to remember how to relax throughout the course of a full work day.

Susan presented a program to the Grand Rapids Dental Hygienists’ Society a few years back entitled, “Letting Go of Your Stress and Helping Your Patients Manage Pain”. She did an amazing job teaching us various techniques such as; guided imagery and yogic breathing. The seminar was a rewarding experience. I personally have attended several of Susan’s other wellness programs and have recommended them to my friends and colleagues. Susan has a gift and I am thrilled she is willing to share.

Susan was a speaker at our Gastroenterology Nursing conference. Her insight on mindfulness and and how it can positively affect our every day life was valuable for us nurses both as self care, and to share with our patients. Susan guided us through a short meditation/mindfulness practice. I use this teaching to help my anxious patients through a stressful procedure. Thank you so much!!

After experiencing an evening with Susan Duesbery in her presentation and participative circle entitled "Sacred Activism" we became aware of how essential this discussion is in our circles today. We hope all persons who wish to delve into nonviolence as a way of life for the new paradigm of creation, consider Susan's sessions. You will begin to see your ministry, career, work in terms of love and positive thinking/acting. Peace means will be peace ends! Love means will result in love ends! Because the means used is the conclusion. We all become blessings to ourselves and to each other on the journey.
